Paul Garza

Assistant Theatre Director

I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX with over 45 years and experience in the performing and technical arts.

I have worked with numerous well-known artists and producers in the industry. My last long-term tenure was being the technical director at one of the oldest theaters in the nation. The San Pedro Playhouse (a.k.a. San Antonio Little Theatre). My tenure there brought awareness of the new field emerging in the entertainment industry and I want to be one of the firsts to teach this new field.

Being technical director at Marshall High School gives me an opportunity to show students how they can elevate the productions we produce. Thinking outside the box and taking artistic risks in creating the sets is a skill I encourage our students to experience.
